General Manager--Lon

Wilmore's General Manager Lon has over 40 years experience in the green industry.He has a degree in Horticulture from Colorado State University and is a Colorado Certified Nursery Professional.In addition to his degrees he teaches master gardeners and actively works as a landscape consultant and professional gardener. In his spare time he has artfully designed, installed and maintained over an acre of gardens on his homestead full of perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs, lawns, ponds and fountains.

Assistant Manager/Greenhouse Manager--Karen

Karen has over 10 years experience in the green industry and maintains a Colorado Master Gardener Certification. She is Wilmore's foremost expert in houseplants, orchids, bonsai and lawn care. Karen will help you find the right plant for any space in your house and can even help turn a brown thumb green.

 

Having trouble with your lawn or houseplant? Bring it in for us to see; samples and pictures are very helpful.

 

Assistant Manager/Help & Information Desk/Customer Service--Leah

Leah has a BS in Horticulture from CSU, an AS in Landscape Design and is a Colorado Certified Nursery Professional. Leah has over 10 years experience in the green industry. She has done work as a conventional and organic grower, landscaper, class instructor and garden designer before she found her way to being Wilmore's information person.

Assistant Manager/Help & Information Desk--Ruth

Ruth has an MS in Horticulture and has worked in the green industry for over 20 years. Her experience includes all aspects of the green industry as she has held positions as a grower, nursery manager and organic gardener. Ruth is an excellent resource for helping you with plant I.D., disease, weeds and cultural issues for any garden.

 

Receiving & Maintaince Manager/Nursery Professional--Bub

Bub is a well-seasoned green industry professional having worked over 37 years in the industry. Bub has had his hand in everything from greenhouse building, to growing, to nursery sales. He can help you find the right tree or shrub for the right place in any situation.

 

Nursery Professional/ Trees & Shrubs--Kevin

Kevin has a degree in Horticulture from the University of New Hampshire and has gathered a lot of practical experience in his 33+years in the green industry. He not only has many years experience working and managing a Nursery, but has also worked in the landscaping and interior landscaping sides of the business. If you need help choosing the right tree or shrub for your yard, Kevin can help.

 

Nursery Professional/Color Department--Mar

Mar is one of our key people in our annual and perennial department. She has over 5 years experience in the green industry and maintains her Colorado Master Gardener Certification. Mar is the person to talk to about perennial, annual, vegetable and container gardening.

 

Nursery Professional/Color Department--Lianne

Lianne has several years experience in the green industry and maintains a Master Gardener Certification. Her specialties at Wilmore include: perennial, annual, vegetable and container gardening, and lawn and garden problem solving.

Janet is one of our excellent outdoor nursery staff. She has several years experience in the green industry and is ready and willing to help you find any information or plant material you may need while shopping at our store.

Sarah has several years experience in the green industry and maintains a Certified Colorado Gardener Certification. Sarah is available to help you with any of your gardening needs including planting advice and garden health solutions.
